I believe 23rd was the original date for Beaulieu. Its TBC on the website with revised calendar due out end of June, so check back Mon/Tue. Andy

I very much doubt it. The 23rd is a Wednesday. It was originally scheduled for the 26th (see below).

So I see. There are plenty of other web & Faceache pages which have clearly not been updated though: e.g.

Sure, but even if it does change I'm still not off the hook.
I won't know for sure for at least another another 7-10 days.

Beaulieu still appears TBC although supposedly opened on Saturday. I can't book tickets after the 19th on the website. Andy

I'm looking at the web page now. It's definitely on for the 26th.

However, numbers are restricted and I reckon people are itching to get back to some kind of normality.
My guess is the quota will be reached pretty quickly.
Simply Jap wrote: To ensure the safety and enjoyment of visitors is met, tickets must be pre-booked and capacity will be strictly limited to 500 participants and 500 visitors . These tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. No tickets will be sold on the day.
There are also no club stands which is off-putting AFAIAC. Even if the convoy manages to remain intact the whole way to the gate (which it never has in my experience), it will be pot luck on which queue you get directed to and how fast it moves. All of which means there is no guarantee of being parked in adjacent slots. Not convinced it's worth a 135 miles each way trip for that.

:confused1: - There is no problem atm. The closing date is 23rd but I reckon it won't last that long (see above).

Yes - the site has now been updated. To be honest I quite fancy it. Never been before. And a fun drive there on the good roads sounds appealing. Andy

Only if you call motorway & d/c fun. I call it a boring yawn fest.
From East London/North Kent there isn't any realistic alternative to the M25/A3/M27.
tony pony's pre-meet/convoy starts in Lyndhurst.

As said, the weather makes or breaks it tbh. 2018 was dire. Blowing a gale with horizontal driving rain. The restaurant was full to overflowing with people sheltering. The Museum was crowded too. It took me the whole way home with the heater blower on full hot to dry out!

There were over 2000 people attending that year despite the appalling conditions. 2020 will be a much smaller event. I'm also not convinced it will be the same vibe with no club stand.

I'm up for the KR if it goes ahead. The Waterside café is open again btw. Early booking essential!

I'm writing off any events for 2020 myself, even if they are on. If the local Tesco Express can't enforce a one way system and distancing, there's no hope at a large event.

Will you be partaking in the Kent run though? ;)
