A/C Compressor

Post by Antonis » 19/05/17 10:59

Hi Guys. I'm from Cyprus and I have a 1994 REV3 NA MR2.
I imported my car from UK in 2007.

I need an A/C compressor. The part number is: 88320-17100

Does anyone have a compressor in working condition?

Thanks.

My advice is flag the A/C system, the car is old and its not worth spending any money on converting the A/C system over to the new gas or trying to get it going again. Wasted a load of money on mine, the pipework is extensive, not like a normal car because the engine and compressor is in the back of the car. Unless you can do all the work yourself and start replacing all the viton orings throughout the system and the exchanger behind the glovebox it will cost a fortune and it just will not last.

Rev 3 is 134A no conversion required.
Quite a few being broken so shouldn't have too much issue.
Try EBay. I'd think the turbo compressor will be the same.

Hi mate. Thanks for the reply.
Sorry I wasn't clear on my description.
My can is japanese import. It already has a/c.
It's not a UK car.
My compressor clutch broke and I need a new compressor to replace it.

Can you please tell me the part number of your compressor? I'm not sure if it will fit on REV3 NA.
I'm interested but I need to know if it's working.

Please give me cost and shipping.
Cheers.

They're old cars so things are now breaking and components are ageing. We might as well scrap them all and get something much newer and more reliable its the only option. Lets end this epidemic of people driving old cars before it catches on
Rev3 JDM GTS Turbo 268.6bhp 262ftlb 0.9bar (Current Toy)
Rev4 UK GT T-BAR (Still in the family)
