I really want to come :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:
Somebody is going to be rather busy next year.

Or we have a potential deserter in the ranks... :tumble:
If there is a PH one in April we'll let you off: there won't be an OC KR that month as I will be in Scotland.

3 of the 'ususal suspects' have said they are unavailable.
Our Regional Rep seems to have gone into hiding.
We have a distinct lack of new blood AFAICS.
Oh, and I'm not on Faceache...

There are 2 more places available at the table.
They may yet get taken up.
I'm waiting on some feedback about that.

Who is our Regional rep out of curiosity, Russ?

Unfortunately seems to be the side effect of a forum which has slowed down, while new faces are appearing they're more likely to be over on facebook. Traffic through this page has diminished, most that are here now have been for a while and are mainly here for social reasons due to friends they've made over the years imo.

Bring on Sunday either way :th:

Yes. My comment ought to have had one of these :) - See below

I wasn't having a pop at Russ. Not much one can do without the raw material...
Not being on Faceache I have no idea of what interest might be generated from that source.
It will be a select group on Sunday: Sod's Law has prevented the other places being taken up.

Didn't see you myself (apologies), also saw a black mk2 which was possibly V6 converted at the meet point at mid day. As above, you would have been welcome to have joined.

Thanks for organising as always TLF was good to catch up even with the small crowd. I really enjoyed being out with the T-bar off in round one and the twilight tour in round two. Your local knowledge continued to amaze me, particularly given the visibility on the way back! :th:

The Silver one was when we stopped for a fag break (photo-shoot) may of been a sonic !
And the one at the start may have just been an N/A with a Japspeed. Anyway next year is Tony's 10th year of organising the Kent run so we all need to make more effort to give him good turn outs !
Really enjoyed today (as always) not a fast one but still enjoyable and great food at the end.
Thanks again TLF :clapping: :clapping:

Twilight Tour. :laughing - Love it! That has given me an idea for next season...

Local knowledge? All the roads on the way back have been used on one or more previous Kent Runs (admittedly normally in the opposite direction, but hey). Maybe it was the lack of visibility you mention. Not sure what that is about though, unless it was due to you using dipped headlights. Or else you don't very often drive your MR2 on unlit rural roads after sunset...
:bleh:

I don't really mind whether it's 3 cars or 23 tbh (the fewest and most that have attended a KR).
Not everyone will be willing or able to do the full monty. Putting on 7 or 8 rounds means that everyone gets a sporting chance to do at least a couple if that's all they want or can manage.

I'm very particular about food, especially for a pub event. Nothing worse than a good run let down by s**t catering! I won't book anywhere that I haven't been able to sample, preferably within the preceding 3 or 4 months. It needs to be that way because even if it's in my 'little black book' it's all too easy for any establishment to deteriorate because it has changed hands, the chef has left, or the landlord has lost his/her mojo.

Glad you all enjoyed the day. Hopefully I can come up with some fresh tomatoes for 2018. :)

Sorry I missed it. The auto is not working properly. And i wasn't taking the trd (garage queen). I'll be back for 2018 and hopefully drum up some more interest to get the numbers back up to 23! Andy
