Found this pic in Members Gallery: dated 10th Jan 2009.

The then owner lived in Hampshire.

No pic of the rear but the front plate/holder is UK not JDM.

Re: looking to buy a MK2 MR2, any advice?

Tony. Isn't the MOT Test Number exactly that ? - or the number on the MOT certificate ? According to the listings the test centre location appears no longer available, I'm not sure how you concluded that the failure and subsequent pass tests were at different garages., but maybe I am missing someth...

Re: looking to buy a MK2 MR2, any advice?

I'm also wondering whether the OP checked the MOT history. What is most impressive is the speed with which those major corrosion defects were remedied prior to retesting (at a different test centre each time) in both 2007 and 2013. :tumble: Well done sounded a bargain :clapping: :clapping: :clapping...

Re: headlight unit height adjustment

yeah, was having a chat with someone else who had suffered the same issue. they did manage to remove the arm (though they said it was on firmly) and move it round on the splines. It is prob only 1 spline out, think 2 would be too far. Will have to address it over the weekend, think that motor is co...

Re: headlight unit height adjustment

If you're still having problems, do you remember the issue you had with your handbrake cables? We found the answer when we checked the relative positioning of the crank arm on each caliper. Try doing the same with the lever on each motor. You might find it easier to do this by removing* both motors ...

Have I reached the end of the road? Do I still enjoy this as much? What more can I do? I suppose hitting 40 last year probably didn't help with that  :laughing :laughing :laughing That's the trouble with you ****** youngsters: no stamina. :bleh: You've a long way to go before you're eligible fo...

Re: Rotten inside boot to the back of arches

Tony, weather you or I choose to do it or not is irrelevant to the seller of these rotten cars. Indeed. I don't recall saying it was. I mentioned it as an example of what can be, and which has probably been done in this case. Fair enough. It's what I suspect as well: I mentioned the 'in trade' poin...

Re: Rotten inside boot to the back of arches

Apologies for the length of this post but it may help these members or anyone else in a similar bind. I did check the log book while there but did not do an hpi check till I got home. In which case how come you failed to spot he wasn't the RK? Or if you did, what was his explanation? For a seller no...
