Re: Getting to the piston rings?!

You can't just fit rings. The bores will need to be checked and measured and they will also need to be honed at a minimum. Engine out is the only way to do this correctly. Also cams can stay in the head to remove it.

Re: Head Gasket or Cracked Block?

If you have oil mixing in the coolant then I'd look at the oil cooler first. There is only one point where high pressure oil goes through the head and that's near the oil pressure switch. The others are drains and would lead to water in the oil not the other way round.

Re: A/C Compressor

Rev 3 is 134A no conversion required.
Quite a few being broken so shouldn't have too much issue.
Try EBay. I'd think the turbo compressor will be the same.

Re: Braking issues

Yep the pads do have audible wear sensors.
Check the pads (inside pads too) could be a seized piston or slider.

Re: Fuel line replacement help

-6 sounds about right for the feed buddy. I always use TorquesUk on eBay for my braided hose etc. Quality is excellent and a lot cheaper than earls etc. 12mm banjo sounds right but I'll try and measure it to be sure. Use the PTFE hose too. It's better near heat and won't be affected by any fuel. Sen...
