Yes kids, it really is that easy!

All you need is a revision 2 (Generation 2 - for the Americans) gear shift lever. Cut the existing bracket weld and then re-weld it as indicated. By doing this you will have your own TRD short shifter! I have compared my own customised stock unit and a TRD shifter and the dimensions and shift rod mounting location are identical.

Rev2/3 owners wont notice a massive difference in throw but Rev1 owners will see a big difference over the stock unit.
