Knowledge Base - Info:- Where can I buy a workshop manual?

Toyota produce a range of workshop manuals. Nicknamed BGB's (they're Big Green Books) they can be purchased in the following volumes.

Engine Mechanical - Body/chassis - Accident repair

They are available by order from you local Toyota dealer and can be supplied for all model revisions. They are also very expensive!

Another option is Haynes. Alas the only title available is the MK1 US variant (1985-87)

Porter have produced a UK manual for the Celica ST185. This covers the UK 3S-GE (upto 1993) engine in detail.

Finally there is in circulation a cd-rom of the US 1991 MR2. This covers the 3S-GTE (turbo) but not the UK/G-LTD 3S-GE.

Check the MK1,MK2 and MK3 "Useful Information" sections of the forum for downloadable versions.
