This is a reluctant sale of the 3SGTE from my MR2 turbo, which I’m unfortunately having to part out due to excessive rust issues on the chassis.
The engine was rebuilt September 2020 and has covered around 1500 miles since as the car was only used in sunny weather, which included a 1000 mile break in period during which no boost was used. I have documentation to backup the mileage which I can send if requested. 

The engine was rebuilt by MR2-Ben in Chester using PEC rods and Wossner pistons, as recommended by Ben. The engine also has ARP studs and bolts, a HKS head gasket, it’s had a full rebuild including all new gaskets and seals (including hose from hell), using OEM Toyota parts where possible.
Turbo had a stage 2 hybrid turbo rebuild by MR2 Ben when the engine was rebuilt, it is still in very good condition, having covered hardly any miles and it was never driven hard.

The gearbox (non LSD to my knowledge) works well and goes into all gears smoothly (reverse can occasionally be a little awkward but doesn’t crunch etc.), it has an Exedy stage 1 clutch and a Fidanza lightened flywheel.
I do have videos of the engine running, it has been running recently when the car was MOT’d after being garaged for 12 months, however the engine was removed shortly after due to the rust issues on the chassis, which were deemed excessive and so it made more financial sense to part out the car
