The words "Plank" or even "W****r" spring to mind. Did he really think he could just drive away. I love the laconic way the officer was dealing with it (buff uniform, which force?) :clapping:

Maybe that's why all supercars are mid engined - still half a chance of getting away! ;) hold on, could that apply to ours as well? :laughing
Maybe there should be a CSCT, like the CBT; you don't get insurance until you've proved you can handle one. The number of Youtubes of supercars diving off roads sideways or backwards is legion, feels like too much power all of a sudden and the drivers don't know what to do.

If you mean the hat, that makes it obvious. Worn throughout the USA by State Troopers.
NYS in this case - http://www.nysth.com/uploads/3/4/3/5/34 ... 5_orig.jpg

The reason for this is historic. It is worn by State Police and Highway Patrol agencies primarily because of their connection to the army. They fulfill duties largely left to the cavalry* until the early twentieth century when most of their agencies were created, hence the campaign hat as part of their uniform.

* Hence Trooper.

This vid of a laid back State Trooper is a classic -
The image quality is poor but don't let that spoil your entertainment. :)

Here's a curiosity. It's in here because it's a "lockdown" job. This is a wheel and tyre assembly from my little MR2 1/24 model kit. Definitely looks like an MR2 wheel, but it scales to 17" with a rolling diameter of 24", which is right.
So - did Mr T ever produce 17" wheels to their own pattern, or is the kit wheel just simply wrong.

If the kit wheel accurately scales to 17" it's incorrect.
No MR2 of any Mk (1, 2, or 3) ever had that size as OEM.
Even the MkIV Supra only had 16" and those were a different pattern.

Currently trapped at work in West Africa at work because of airport lockdown with no clear sight of when I will get home!
I started the lockdown with no knowledge of most things MR2 related.
I will leave the lockdown (whenever that is) have sourced and bought (remotely) 2 lovely Gen 1 Mk2 examples for me and my wife.
