Question on the prep work for one of these runs, checked oil, water, screen wash and got two new tyres filled her with fuel any thing else? About to clean her in a bit

Pretty much covered it. If your region convoy is using Walkie Talkies, get those charged up today if you have them. Get the postcodes jotted down of your meet points on paper just in case your sat nav dies and you have to revert to your phone. Get the mobile of someone in your regional meet so you always have an emergency number for "where the hell did you lot go?" and for your rep so that he/she can account for you, when you first meet up (don't bother if you don't attend - causes more confusion).

Fuel tank brimmed, levels checked, new side lights fitted, car cleaned, can't wait.

If you're talking about getting into Barrow Wake? then that is in fact a cattle grid... it's been a while since I've been in there but if I remember correctly it's pretty flat. I am however still concerned about getting my car in :sad:
