The South East will aim to arrive around 2pm. Probably head for home around 3pm.
I hope we are stopping for pee breaks before then if that's the case :laughing

Pee breaks?

Look hun, we're going on a Mega Run (starting at 10.00 and ending for lunch at around 12.30: maybe 13.00 depending on which pub can accommodate us) not a toilet tour of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire!

I guess that explains why there is such a low percentage of female HGV drivers... ;) :p

Darn it, I'd mapped a whole route out for us and everything. Even looked up the history of each loo so I could give a detailed tour. :crybaby:

Bah! You could have saved me an awful lot of work had I known. :annoyed:
I would only have needed to PM you the pub location for you to add the final bit...

Cotswold Mega Run - logistics?

Post by stuMR2lee »

She may need to find a bigger car park though! Managed to fill our car park up on her own! That must have been before we fitted her new specs:).

You guys heard of a Shewee? I go out shooting all day with the men and there isn't anywhere to squat, it comes in very handy. :laughing

Yep. I remember it being pitched on Dragons' Den.
Peter Jones wasn't keen on the idea.
He didn't think there would be sufficient take up.

So an update on this, I went to the vale cafe on the A46. Its very big however as you see below it is also covered in lots of very large craters! So its definitely not suitable for MR2s as you can't get in or out without dropping into a 10" crater.

Barrow wake is still the best place in my opinion, it also looked very quiet today when I drove past.

Following this visit, I am now stuck in a layby 200 yards down the road from the vale cafe as the clutch pedal in my Audi decided to break leaving me with no gears!!

Now waiting for the RAC to recover me!
