Not sure to be honest.... We have always said to meet at Chieveley Services for 6am with a 6.30am leave when doing Japfest .... Seems a pretty good plan.....

Tickets have been sent today so should be with you tomorrow or the day after :th:

I remember last year for japfest St combe I followed a couple of.you guys on an app called glympse or something.
As I'm from swindon, I just joined on the convoy at one of the swindon m4 junctions using that app and it was accurate to a few metres so knew exactly where the convoy was.
I think it was shinny who proposed it and it worked a treat.

Wonder if we can do the same thing again?

My car will be on and off the stand again this year as I got a couple of track sessions booked for 12pm and 2pm....anyone else on track at these times?

Glimpse worked really well last year. Was awesome seeing the convoys converge, knowing where people were....

It's 30 minutes from Chieveley to M4 J16 (Swindon/Wootton Bassett) and about the same again to Combe. I reckon we need to be there by 07.00 as, according to the website, there are 2000 cars booked to display. That's a lot to get through the gates before the show opens to the public.

I caught a stand map for japday on fb and it did look like our joint stand with imoc is in the same place.

Hi all, I have some sad news, unfortunately my mr2 won't be able to attend, I'm still super keen to come and see everyone and enjoy the show, technically I still have another jap car I can bring, but what would happen when I arrive and show my club pass? Hope everyone is well and looking forward to Saturday.

Bean, any Jap car will get through the gate. The vehicle pass doesn't say MR2 on it anywhere.
