Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has seen this posted up or not but I thought I'd mention it seeing as we're all mad about anything MR2 related. The MR2 Drivers Club are celebrating 25 years of the club by arranging a mass meet of as many MR2's as possible (all marques welcome) at Hatton Country World in Warwick on the 5th June 2016.

Entry to the event is free and you do not need to be a member to attend (I'm not a member myself), however they're looking to bring together as many cars as possible. I'll quote a bit of blurb from a post I saw on Facebook below and provide a link to their website. Is anyone interested in attending? if so I could provisionally volunteer myself to organise MR2OC to attend if theres the demand. Add your name to the list below if your interested and we'll go from there...

Hi guys - reminder about this event in June. Free for all to attend - would be great to get as many MR2s together as we can. It's MR2 Drivers' Club 25th anniversary, but the event is for any MR2 - you don't need to be a member.
Arrangements going well with Toyota - they'll be there with their hospitality unit & media team, couple of GT86s for viewing, couple of 750 Motor Club race MR2s also displaying, car show, wheel change comp, inter-region competitions, venue next to shopping village with stuff for kids to do ... and cover if the weather is against us!

M40 Beaconsfield services seems the perfect venue again for a convoy up from the South :D

Good evening Gents.

Just a quick update to say I've finally emailed the organisers with everyones details who has expressed interest so far, as far as I know we all currently have places. However I have been warned they have a limit of 150 cars for the venue and if this is reached then MR2DC members will be given priority over us, lets hope it doesn't come to that though.

If anyone else is interested then I have been advised that the organisers would like to be contacted directly rather than through me. This is also easier as they would like to know your car details, fortunately I know everyone's who's applied so far ;)

I should be going, I don't think the dc taking places will be a problem. I don't think there's many members or ones that actually drive theirs.
