Cotswolds Run 2016 - 3rd April

Hey all,

Many of you will remember the Cotswolds run we did last year. We had something like 50 cars from all over the country in attendance!

There was a weekend event proposed for around this time of year a few months ago, but that doesn't look like it's happening now, so lets organise another single day event.

Date - 3rd April

Final meet point: Barrow Wake from 2PM

The format will be the same as last year - each region organises their own run and lunch, with a final meeting point for everyone after lunch.

So, if you're interested, state your name and region and I'll add you to the list. Please don't copy the list in your post, let's keep one master list in this OP only.

If so, I have last year's SE run/pub info saved in my route book.

I reckon so Tony, I doubt there are many other places in the Cotswolds that will host that many people!

Will work that out when we get an idea of numbers. We had a longer lead time last year.

The above date is open to discussion as well - I picked that date because it's not the easter sunday, it's early enough in the year that there shouldn't be too much tourist traffic, and it's far anough away from Japfest at the end of April.

Split the list into regions - chances are though some regions will merge for their run, like we did last year. We just need to have it split so we don't have 30 cars on the same route at the same time!

The only way I could possibly make this is to get off a coach from Switzerland at 10am, jump straight into an MR2 (with my skis in the passenger seat!) and try to catch the tail of a convoy. That seems unlikely... mostly due to ski transportation issues :(

The above date is provisional, there's been a couple others who couldn't do that date.

If it was to move, it would be to Sunday 3rd April I think. Don't want to be too close to Japfest as no doubt many of you have lots you want to get done before that!
