Whiskey, blarney, & leprechauns.
Seeing this thread - http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/38/166113.html - has given me an idea.
Would anyone in GB be up for another trip to the Emerald Isle?
Our only previous invasion was in 2009 - http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/80/124990.html
If so, maybe we could get ricky2 and slipslide on board for route planning etc.

Sounds like a great idea, not been there for years. Not sure there is enough annual leave left for a trip this year though so would depend on dates but would love to join in, in principal.

Re: Whiskey, blarney, & leprechauns.
Far too late for 2017.
It's not like a Kent Run: I can set up one of those in a few days!.
The planning and logistics for this is require a lot more input.
Similar to that for the Highland Drive. So we're looking at 2018 for this.
Just getting there and back will require a full day each.
A long weekend will only give us 2 days of driving over there.
That makes no sense to me: definitely a full week.
The HD is 4/5 days + 2 (out and back) for many of the regulars.
Ireland (NI + RoI) is a far bigger land mass than what we cover on the HD.
If this has legs we're looking at a similar arrangement to the HD.
Non-refundable deposits 4 months in advance of the trip.
Also, probably need to limit it to 12 cars max.
