Share your avc-r settings?
Hi,
Any AVC-R owners want to compare settings?
I'm running at 1.05 kg/cm2/70 percent duty which seems to be ok.
Start duty is still 0% in all gears. I dont seem to be getting any spikes.

Really? You'll have to show me that at Brooklands.Olly.Wel wrote:start duty is fun!! you can get the car to wheel spin in high gears! hehe!!
I've got mine set at 0.7bar and 58% duty. 0% start duty in all gears, and feedback at 3 in all gears.
Then the other setting of 1.15bar is at 75% duty (a bit high) rising to about 78% duty about 5500rpm. Fourth gear peaks a little so I've upped the feeback to 4 or 5 in that gear.
But that's not 100% set up correctly cos most of the time I'm only hitting 1-1.1bar.

What sort of intercooler are you running? Until I get me new one installed I'm going no higher than 1.05

Re: Share your avc-r settings?
For a Rev3 probably 1.2bar on the stock intercooler, but that's pretty much the limit of a CT20b turbo. Probably safer at 1.1bar which most people run at.

Re: Share your avc-r settings?
Rev1 and 2 owners opt for the Rev3 Ct20b, as it's the most cost effective way of increasing the car's boost limit, and keeps boost to the redline.mark239 wrote:What turbo have most upgraded to?
Rev3 owners tend to opt for hybrid turbos.
The Ct20b is pretty good for the money and for 300bhp.

I've got mine set at 1bar with 73% duty, cant remember feedback etc, I must learn how to use it, it holds boost fine in 4th & 5th but other gears it spikes to 1 bar then tails off to 0.8 or so ( CT20b BTW)

Re: Share your avc-r settings?
Set mine at 0.9bar with 30% boost duty, and I hit 1.2bar!!! Dunno whats going on with mine? Think a trip to Tim is in order.

the duty seems to prevent spiking if set a bit lower?
Start duty I havent played with much yet - I'll give that a go tonight.

Same here.potter wrote:I've got mine set at 1bar with 73% duty, cant remember feedback etc, I must learn how to use it, it holds boost fine in 4th & 5th but other gears it spikes to 1 bar then tails off to 0.8 or so ( CT20b BTW)
4th and 5th hit 1.15bar, gears 1 to 3 only hit 1.05bar.
