Stickies get lost, people move on and the pics can get deleted from their storage. I'll covert it for KY2 and it will be there for posteritywibble wrote: if it gets stickied somewhere ill be happy, thanks for the comments mate

You can also just take the subframe off and leave the hubs hanging on the suspension. I wish I did it your way though, as you get to leave the hub nuts on.

No, I can take them off of this thread, you have (or photobucket has) already resized them to 640x480 so saves me doing itwibble wrote: Jimi mate if you want i can send you the origional images as there are still a hell of a lot more to take, and i was hoping to cover as much of the how 2 section in it lol.

While you are at it Mike - save yourself a kilogram (no joke) and remove that stupid triangular rubber vibration block from the sub-frame!
Also - I would seriously advise you renew your fuel filter - it looks ancient and you may find its a contributing factor in killing your engines!

Hey Cool my unique Apex'i pipe mod is going back on a Zircon!
It makes a nice noise when you are giving it the beans - just be careful that you don't pull the tube off the boot as it took me 2 hours to get it on!!!
Oh, and wrap insulation tape round your T.B neck to increase the diameter a bit as the rubber section is from a rev3 which has a 2mm larger TB neck.

This is a great write up, and is a great help for me as I'm considering a turbo transplant in the summer.
The only thing you don't seem to have mentioned is unclipping the loom from the passenger footwell and running it back.
Either that or you've missed off where to unclip all the sensors from the engine to keep the same loom in place.

Yeah that's the one I've read before.
Yours goes into a lot more detail for each stage though.
Is there a way to drain the coolant out the engine before taking off the pipes, or is it a case of pull it off and leave it?!
