MR2RIVERS eventful journey from JAE....

Post by mr2rivers »

Well as a lot of you know I crawled over the gate at the start of the weekend. (Ran out of electricity... )

Well it was all looking ok for the journey home, until I went to GO HOME, lol

Completely died on me and when it was bump started, the alternater wasn't charging it.

Well I lost the back end of the convoy I was supposed to be in. :crybaby: :ranting1: :crybaby:

Well I made the exit to the park,

By then there was no-one left on our stand, (I walked back to check)

I had to pay for a taxi to the local halfords, buy a new battery for £90.

I actually made it back to oxford to within 1 mile of my house before i lost almost all charge, Got to my driveway and with a couple of misfires I MADE IT :yahoo:

Great weekend though, just need to get a new alternater on now.

Thanks everyone, nice to meet all of the faces.

Hope every else made it back ok, Carol?

Hope to see everyone at the FINALE. :th:

im so annoyed about this mate, I honestly thought you were still in the convoy but I was behind Carol watching her wheels making sure it was running straight, when we realized you wasn't in the convoy it was far too late (our convoy got split a couple of times and got lost).

glad to hear you got back ok though bud,

speak to you soon

Top tip for next time... store members mobile numbers in your phone. Horrible that you had to deal with that all on your own.
Glad you got home in the end though.
They'll take the internet off us if people keep doing this.
