Example: evening open pit lane at Brands Hatch 25th July - two and a half hours for £99.
However that format will encompass a mix of novice and more experienced drivers which may not be the best option for someone who has never been on track before. A taster (like Jay's event next month) might be a better bet for a first attempt.

Great, we're up to 6 people potentially interested
I appreciate that JapFest track time is not the best value for money compared to spending £200 on a full track day, but it's a low cost, fun "taster" and a club track session would really 'make' the show for us all. If people want to discuss alternatives, organise track days etc. then you're very welcome to do so. However this thread has a clearly defined purpose, and that is to work out whether I should arrange MR2OC track time for next year's JapFest at Castle Combe. If you'd like to discuss other track opportunities then please do so on another thread, where I'll quite possibly sign up!

Good man! The adrenaline the first time you go out is a pretty good rush by itself but you'll find you settle into it pretty quickly and then get faster as your confidence in both yourself as a driver and in your car increases
