As they are gate c, to be fair to them, an earlier start might be on the cards :th:

I see IMOC intend to be at chievley for 6.30, is this the plan? to be fair id like to think they have the congestion sorted this year as they done a much better job last year :zip

I'm happy with a 6.30 meet at the services....

I am bowing to your experiences of current years on this as it has been a few years since I have been

TBH, last year was an absolute breeze! We were one of the first on site and certainly don't need to be earlier this year...

Looking at the old threads, we planned to leave Morrisons at 730am... from memory, I think we left a couple of minutes earlier than that.

if we go a) I would say that we'd need to be leaving early, if we go b) I'd say that we could leave that little bit later...
Gaz's 'back route' cuts off the right turn from the A420 onto the B4039 and the camel train through Tiddlywink. It joins the B4039 in Yatton Keynell. We still have to pass Gate C to reach Gate B though. Bear in mind that 40+ cars trying to merge into the main stream in Yatton will inevitably split us up.

I think you'll find they cribbed that time from this thread. :)

There are two convoy threads open atm. This one & http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/79/160984.html?start=14

One of them needs to be locked otherwise :confused1: will reign.

Let's hope the one horsepower set have read and take notice of this:
http://www.badminton-horse.co.uk/index. ... ting-here/

On Saturday 10th May all visitors should avoid using the B4039 from Chippenham via Castle Combe and Acton Turville, because of ‘Japfest’ a large motor event at Castle Combe circuit that day. Alternative routes are signed by the AA.

There may be more traffic than usual on the M4 between Chieveley and J17. Anyone coming from north of the M4 on the A429 via Cirencester is going to get caught up in Badminton traffic.
