Japfest 2008 PIC FEST!!!!
Nice pics and a good selection of cars I havnt seen before
I am really loving the cars with the reg plates that start:
L336 (can someone tell me the kit on this car, its a beauty - I'd love my 2 to look like this)
S886 (gotta love the monkey!)
D401 (for a MK1, looking good - and I dont usually like MK1's!)
M322 (the wheels on this look great, just something about it that makes it stand out)
There others all look good too of course, its just these ones stand out amongst the other cracking vehicles on display. Top job people

Wicked mate. You have some good pics. I ended up with 330! Not all are good though. I will post some up later on. Photobucket will take a good hour or so to upload them. Maybe even longer!

[DISCLAIMER - WAFFLE ALERT]
Well where do i begin?
1st time at Japfest and 1st time trying to organise it with Jeff. Hope it turned out ok for everyone! You all have Jeff to thank for distributing tickets and doing all the behind the scenes work - top job fella
And thanks to Stef and Traci for the advice, fellow Japshow comittee for input and help, and the regional reps for organising convoys/drumming up interest.
FRIDAY
Decided to go down on the Friday with Matt, Cher & Lezz as the 2 hour journey didn't sound too good to get there for 8am Saturday!
Honey (what a star) found us a great Hotel and we rolled up about 5pm to get some beers in and clean the cars. Stevieskydive did as his name suggested and dived straight the for the bar - no surprise there then! and a few more TB Dev lot rolled up and left us OC'ers to clean our cars (mine was grey as can be confirmed by Matt Ross).
Nipnosis was taken out by the resident V6 Taxi....
........."Too many cylinders.....blah blah blah"
Hehe, and whilst the TB Dev crew were getting spruced up we cleaned the cars.
...And then they emerged.....OMG
Don't drink and drive kids!!!!!
The OC contingent had a meal and a quiet drink whilst Stevie took everyone else to a few pubs. When they got back (it's all a bit hazy ops: ) i remember Nick and I looking at each other in the bar whilst the barmaid nearly fell over at what she saw - you'll know what i mean people!
I woke up this morning to find my new £60 Jeans ruined after climbing out of the Hotel window to retrieve my Bible for the 2nd time (you git) but hey ho - was such a funny night
SATURDAY
And then onto Japfest in the morning - we got a great pitch - a good 2-300m long and perfect as anyone didn't have to move any cars if anyone left - Jeff - See if you can get that one next year as it was right next to a burger van
As if this car needs cleaning! Stunning Brian
"I told you to go straight on Tony you muppet!!!"
"Has anyone seen my wife?"
PMSL - for once - Gaz was sober - HONEST!!!
Topguns TRD is not a bin Matt.....
..... it is now
GOTCHA
Mmmmm nice Supras
Who are this ugly lot?
Awesome looking Supra (if only the spacers were sorted!)
......Still lost his wife.....
I found Topguns secret - he waxes his butt!!!!
Gotcha again old man
Drift action:
Now at this point my old mucker Lezz announced he was off to the toilet. I had my reservations though and Matt, Kev and Myself found him.....
....eating do-nuts and drinking coffee!!!!!!!!
............but he does have one of these so i'll forgive him
Sniped
The OC Stand went on...
...and on...
...and on...
...and on...
...and on!
Fave car of the stand today was this... Everything worked for me and colour looked incredible when the sun hit it.
Roll on next year - i know i'll be there
