I don't know Dave. If you think we can round up (10) people to buy a Thursday to Sunday ticket now I'm happy to do it. OC are still going to add £2 for recorded delivery though mate. We've had too many lost in the post.

It's still bloody good value. £37 for 4 days car show, fireworks, entertainment, camping & showers. Can't argue really ... Mostly

I'd imagine that the 'service charge' is essentially what it costs to run through the ticket sales site... this means that JAE will get the full amount for the price of the ticket, (£35 or £30) and the hosts of the ticket sales site will get money from each transaction for hosting the sales...

it's a service charge of sorts, but it's the same for anywhere, even my local cinema I have to pay a service charge when booking the tickets online... after all, why would you host the ticket sales if there wasn't anything in it for you?

Not trying to defend them in any way... just my thoughts on the matter

can i clarify what happens when you buy a ticket , does it get sent to you direct if you choose not to download it yourself ?

It's either an

- 'e-ticket' (one you print out yourself)
or a
- 'mobile ticket' that I can only guess at (as I chose the e-ticket route) you get a text message sent to your mobile phone with a unique reference number

ok , just with Dan mentioning recorded delivery earlier on

better in many ways , barring the service charge , less work for me to do , tickets wont get lost , and im assuming as they are electronic sales will be open right upto the event
