JAE 2015 south east convoy

Ok, quick chat with Gazza_DJ and we thought a south east convoy up to JAE for the Thursday was in order. If anyone wants to join us they'll be more than welcome. Once we know where people are coming from we'll organise stops/meeting points. Make a list of where you're coming from below and I'll get organising.

It'll be an m11, a14, a1 run. Time to be decided as I shall leave it to all of you previous attendees to suggest an appropriate arrival time.

Personally I like to get there as early as possible to help setup if needed and also get on the beer too

Ok, for both of the purposes that Dave has identified (helping and beer) we will be arriving as soon as the gates open to help the oc JAE team setup including putting up the marquee. After all, if we want to use the facilities its only right we help set them up (plus drink beer).

as soon as I get a suitable arriving time from the guys I'll arrange the convoy times and locations.

Provisionally, we'll gather the Essex Mafia in Braintree near the A120, and we can pick up the Kent crew plus anyone else heading up the M11 at the Birchanger Services.

We trialled an app called Glympse (http://www.glympse.com/what-is-glympse) at Japfest earlier in the year. This allowed people to join us en route - it worked really well. Obviously we don't want to be stopping at every service station on the way to pick up a few people here and there.

sounds like a plan. Ok, so we can pick people up anywhere between birchanger services on the m11, up the a1 to Newark. Come on people, get your names down.

Depending on timings, I may hook up at Birchanger.
If not, will probably slot in somewhere on the M11/A14/A1(M).
