Pointless in having it Dan if thats what the RAC said,i think between us if any thing goes wrong we should be able to fix it :whistling:

Also don't forget you will need in the car with you not the boot:
A high vis vest for each person
A warning triangle
Headlamp beam adjusters
A spare bulb kit

Also no radar speed camera detectors, if you have one leave it at home or they will seize and destroy it.

And a tip from me, if you have a phone that uses the net for sat nav etc disable the roaming feature and put it on airplane mode as if you use the data you will have a huge bill waiting for you at home

I believe the minimum tyre tread depth is bigger over there aswell, tyres must be above 3mm or they will be considered illegal. mine are currently just over 3 mm on the rears and i'm buggered if I'm going to change them for the sake of 72 hours in France. I don't normally run tyres low but I want to make these stretch and then get a new set just in time for the snow in winter.

On my second day of prepping the car and still not quite finished, although i have fitted a couple of chavy mods lol

taken all the wheels of and gave them a good clean its surprising how the brake dust builds up and they are looking a lot better.Just cgot a couple of more things to do fill her up with some petrol and she's good to go,any one know the prce of petrol once we get over there.?i

Yes, The France trip was the last run the turbo did, I bought the mk3 on the 10/07/2010. God knows where i would stash the booze in the mk3. I think the plan would be, take no clothes apart from the one i wear

Last day of work today

Looking forward to it way too much considering its only a three/four day holiday, lol.

Busy day tomorrow though... anyone found a cheap shop for the bulb kit/beam deflectors/warning triangle?
