We will definitely be there, :th:

Last year was excellent a real driving experience, I enjoyed the driving every day. The 2000 miles soon went in 5 days and we all averaged around 30 to the gallon.

I would be happy to do the same route, but will go along with whatever the majority wants.

First week of school holidays in August?

What about travelling out on the Sunday this time?

Rob I will have my supercharger on the V6, more tunnels :D . I must fit the six pot callipers before we go this time ;)

I was speaking to Alan about this at the BHP Show, I think we both spent about £2500 for the whole trip

Pimm’s and ducks are ready to go :laughing

im looking forward to the tunnels, iv worked out a simple equation in my head to prepare myself...

Tubby + Tunnel = :) :) :) :)

V6 + Tunnel = :D :D :D :D + jealousy

but now....

V6 + S/C + Tunnel = :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: + :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

i think its fair to say we found who's leading :laughing :laughing

in terms of the experience gained the price of everything was little too pay :) , id be happy to take a loan out to ensure i can make it :laughing

which callipers are you looking to fit michael? its on my current to do list and a set of willwoods is on the cards ;) (as well as a working clutch  )

Hi Spec Brakes

I was silly last year I should have fitted Red pads to the V6. The car will have the advantage of paddle gear change this year with engine braking.

That noise was embarrassing coming from the car on the way down from the mountain,,,, and that was just Noreen :laughing

CRN disc's and red stuff pads done me fine , however i think next year will be slightly different.

I now know the pace of all of you :whistling: so some hard core brakes might be called for.

Also had a few changes of heart , GT35 , boot mounted intercooler , remap and 500+ bhp here i come .

Sounds like , we won't be saying that all cars averaged about 30 to the gallon, even though you have gone green

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: the minature power plant :laughing

whilst googling i came accross this

http://www.theprojectgetaway.com/p/2011-route.html

not a clue how they think that trip will cost approx £400

fairly similar to how we were last year, just a bit of an extension down the bottom end, how many days were we thinking of making this trip roughly?
