Hmmm - I wonder how many times I can break down on the continent?

If I have a reliable year then I could be up for some form of trip :th:

Just kidding!

Plan on £100 a night hotels
£1.30 a litre x your average mpg
£30 pppd min on food
£150 for tolls
£100 crossing.

Rough figures.

Personally, if I were to do it again I'd go longer, further, avoid tolls, possibly camp a few nights.

I'd be tempted if I hadn't already got my name down for the Highland Drive... not sure the OH would be best pleased for me to be away for another week from the family

I have always wanted to go camping in Europe but we do have to watch out for certain seasons where it would be worse in one place than another.

No-one has really answered for the "what if one breaks down" though?
