Door electrics removal

I am stripping down my MK1 for repair

Doors look like they come off easily, however I cannot see how to remove the wires, most cars have an obvious plug !

As previous post, haynes is useless !

There's a plug on either side, look in the drivers footwell on the rigbt side you'll see a junction box, the door loom comes through a flexi conduit to a plug at that junction box, passengers side is similar.
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour
