Toyota Part No. is 22278 16010

Post by Bob371 »

I have a factory supercharged 1988 Toyota MR2 with an AW11 4AGZE Engine. I am having some trouble sourcing a new gasket with all enquiries to date drawing a blank. What I am looking for is described as a rubber o’ring throttle body gasket for the idle speed control valve. The full Toyota Part No. is 22278 16010 per the picture attached. Has anyone resourced or found a specalist manufacturer who can make such a beast?

everywhere I looked it came up with same message, item dicontinued.

only suggestion is if you have the old one, take to Toyota or auto factor and see if they have one of same size and shape.

Same gasket is used on various Toyota's with the GZE engine, but they all use the same part number, which is discontinued. To get one made is liable to be exorbitant, your only viable option may well be something like this

Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour
