ones gone missing - discontinued from Toyota - anyone have one or know where I can get one?

If you can get the part number you can have a try with anayama trading. Shipped in from Japan so factor in duty etc but I have got a discontinued part through them.
1991 rev 1 T Bar n/a 3sge import. A work in progress!!!

Thanks but been there done that, discontinued part unfortunately.
42603-17090 is the P/N type C. Unfortunately all the MR2s share the same part no so you need to be sure its a revision 5 which is the type C.

Other option then is maybe phone some of the specialist workshops like woodsport, drift limits, sbits, rogue or twosrus and see if they have any laying around
