Knocking engine- fix or replace

Post by abdulbvbs »

I had a few MR2's in the past (90's) and decided to buy turbo a few months ago . Unfortunately it has developed a knocking engine.
So my question is- fix it, Replace the engine or break it?
I live in west London and I'd prefer to find a local trustworthy mechanic to have a look.
