Finally..my spare gearbox has been stripped today to check what's the damage inside. 1st gear was jumping out...oil was like silver paint in colour even after 2 oil changes. I've done about 8000 miles on it.
The plan is to fully rebuild and replace every bearing and synchros,1st gear and hub as it was worn out and new input shaft as it was damaged as well,5th gear upgrade and all little bits.
The box got aftermarket plated LSD which was clunking at the tight turns so I'm thinking to replaced it with the Quaife ATB.
Is the anyone here who tried Quaife ATB LSD in their gearbox and what's the verdict?
