Original Toyota Valet Key.
I have never seen an example of the Valet Key that was supplied with new Mk2's.
I believe it was supplied so that garage and hotel staff etc could access the car and move it, but for security we're not able to open the glove box lock or the boot lid.
I would appreciate a description of how it compares to the full key and, even better, hopefully a photo of both side by side.
Thanks in anticipation

Re: Original Toyota Valet Key.
One tumbler difference in the lock. I pulled it out of the boot lock now one key does everything.
My setup is a bit different however as when i bought the car pretty sure i had no valet key either but the ignition switch was wrecked where someone had tried to steel the car so purchased a brand new one from Toyota that came with 2 new genuine keys.
Then made the old ignition key work all the remaining locks and got a lightweight key cut of it to carry on the keyring.
To boot was the only lock i remember having to change.
