Which model was this mystery boot lock fitted to ??

There are 3 x different length boot locks fitted to the Mk2.

The shortest one, with a barrel length of 28mm was fitted to Rev1 and 2 cars with Zenki lights etc.
The longest one, with a barrel length of 48mm was fitted to Rev 3,4 & 5 cars with Kouki lights etc.

The other one, with a barrel length of 40mm is the one that puzzles me. Does anyone know which model that was fitted to? Apart from the length it is identical in design to the other two but does not have the electrical wire attached. I've tried fitting it to both types of centre panel and it is not suitable for either.
