Sump with oil level sender

Post by redshift »

Hello All
I have a 1999 Rev 5 N/A and the sump has started to leak over the last couple of years or so. Maybe becoming porous? I have seen new sumps available through the usual suppliers but you can't fit the oil level sender to them.

Does anybody know if you can still get the sump which takes the sender? Maybe MrT if the other suppliers don't have it, but that may mean remortgaging the house. I know I can use the dipstick (and I do!) but I'd like to keep the sender if possible because the car is in original unmolested condition.
(The sump is the small shallow version)
