Hi all,
I have sourced a Rev3 GT-S that will be transplanted into my Rev5 N/A.
It's fitted with a TRD LSD gearbox but the Gearbox Speed Sensor doesn't work, does anyone know the part number for this item? The ones I found so far say 'Not suitable for Turbo model'.
Secondly what is everyone's thoughts on clocks?
Do I keep my original N/A clocks and fit separate Boost gauge, Oil pressure, Air/Fuel Ratio or should I replace my clocks with the Rev3 Turbo clocks I got with the car.
Mileage wise my N/A has 120k, the Turbo has 94k (it was converted to KM in 2007 from what I can make out on the paperwork - would the gearbox speed sensor mean the miles haven't been clocking up since it broke?)
Thanks all

Re: Gearbox Speed Sensor / Dash Clocks
As far as I can tell from the EPC this is the turbo one https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toy ... 0L-AJMZZA)
If the speed sensor isn't working, then the odometer won't work either

Re: Gearbox Speed Sensor / Dash Clocks
By ‘clocks’ I’m guessing you mean dash gauges? The only diff between NA and turbo model should be the voltage gauge which is replace with boost on turbo. The stock boost is useless so you will need to replace anyway with either a compatible size one in stock location or as 2nd choice something pod mounted.
Could always go digital which opens up a few more possibilities. Have a look a DeFi brand which can take a variety of sensors (pressure, temps, O2, etc) onto a single screen.

Thanks both,
Think I’ll stick to my clocks then! The DeFi look brilliant but says you can use them in the UK. Think it would work if I can VPN the app from the App Store?
