Red poly bushes on ebay

Post by John harle »

I need to replace all the bushes on my sw20. Found these on ebay. Seem cheap compared to power flex. Anyone had any experience with them?

That is the Prothane 18-2009 kit that they're selling for a markup. its a good kit for the money.

Here's the black version, red version is also listed on Amazon but is not available shipped and sold by Amazon which is key to getting it cheap.

Red version (note the picture is exactly the same)

Usually you can get the red version for the same price as the black version but Amazon aren't listing it atm, only marketplace sellers.

If its shipped and sold by Amazon they calculate the tax up front and charge up front, which means you're not paying a £10+ admin fee on tax when it arrives here to the courier. As it is prepaid it goes through customs faster too. They also charge you in your local currency.

The end result is the same product for just over £100. The downside is it'll take a while to get here (and is currently OOS), and if there's a problem with the product you'll probably have to send it back to the US.

So what is the difference between the red and black? Are the black ones a harder material (for track)
I guess I will wait and see if they come back in to stock after Xmas!
