Horn not working.
Hi guys..... so the horn does not work.
It worked twice but now nothing. The fuse is good. When I press the horn I hear the relay click. I don't know how to safely take the relay out to clean it. Do you have any advice on what I should do as you know it is difficult to see where the horns are grounded to see if corrosion is the problem. Thanks.

Re: Horn not working.
If you can get to the horns check with a multimeter to see if you are getting 12v between the green/white wire and a good earth. It's safe enough just to pull the relay if you want to check it.

Re: Horn not working.
Its easier to get to the horns from the top if you still have undertrays ,less chance of snapping rusted bolts.

Re: Horn not working.
Okay got the multimeter out and plugged into the single green wire plug. Then put other end onto the bolt that holds the front bumper in place ( bolt is rusted but couldn't go to abetted bolt as my multimeter leads are not long enough. Pressed the horn and got about 3.80 V
So I am thinking power is getting though but ground is bad

Could well be, a good earth for the meter will prove it, you could extend the meter leads with a length of wire

Yep the ground was all rusted so I managed to get a wire brush in to clean the bolts and gave a good spray with gt85.
But now need to replace the alternator I believe as battery not charging and staying on 12.5v when engine is running!!
