I’m not sure what engine is in my turbo

Post by Payney »

Hi I wondered if any one can help I’m looking to replace my ecu as I have had diode leak issue. But I’ve been told that my mr2 rev 2 has been converted to a rev3 so unsure what ecu I need and the lambda sensor isn’t connected it has a 4 wire lambda screwed in with out a plug on it and I have a 1 wire plug in the same area along with 2 plugs that I believe are for the ac compressor that isn’t fitted but in my shed if any one could help this would be great many thanks chris

Diodes don't leak, you mean capacitors ;)
There's a list of MK2 ECU part numbers here https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your2/mk2/ ... mbers.html
However much better to check your actual ECU it has the part number on it ( it's in the boot behind the bulkhead carpet)
Black is not a colour ! .... Its the absence of colour
