Engine bay lid release
Hi all,
For the last decade, I've had a Heath-Robinson setup to pop the lid open on the engine on my 2000 MR2 spyder. The cable's clearly stretched - I never bothered to replace it as I managed to really screw up the actual release lever by the seat (it's kinda soft metal and bent pretty easy under stress).
Does anybody know where I can get hold of this piece? I've found the cable online, but not the actual lever...
Also, has anybody replaced this cable? Do I have to remove the back cupboards and the rear wheel plastic arch thingy to do it?
Thanks a lot in advance
Stephen
