Tick over Revs Too high
I've just finished a complete re-build of my MKIII Roadster 1.8 engine...
Back in and all running, just a couple of niggles to address...
One of which is that the tick over is as tho the 'choke' is still activated, all the time -running at about 1300rpm.
Previously it was always bang on 1300rpm on start and then around 800/900 on normal tick over.
When I plugged in the computer to check it, the revs indicated showed that it should be between 1300/1500! So something is telling the computer that it's correct and something is telling the engine to turn over at that rate....
Anyone know where I should start?
Thanks,
Ian
