Just bought a 2006
Hi guy’s, after about 3 months of searching I finally found a lovely dark grey MR2 totally standard with a full Toyota service history and I would say nearly perfect, I am thinking it sits too high and thought a set of Tien springs would solve that problem and I was also thinking about a Cobra quad exhaust, any advice would be appreciated and are there any other mods which are worth doing on the car.
Ps. should I remove the pre cats on a 2006?

Welcome aboard
Car sounds good - get some pics up, we love to have a look
Having only just bought a MK3 I haven't even collected yet, I can't really comment on mods or if the precat problem effected the later facelift cars (I know the pre-facelift needs it doing).
I'm sure there will be someone along soon enough to help out there

100% remove the pre cats. They aren’t needed and are known to cause issues so why risk it

No problem. Tein, TTE or Apex springs should make it sit and feel more sporty. Cobra is quite a raspy sound and can be a bit much IMO. Personally I’d try and get a TTE or Remus (which I think is a TTE)
Other than that and a good service I’d maybe suggest a centre under brace which stiffens the car up nicely and maybe a poly Bush kit depending on how far you want to go with the modding

I would change the shocks too as they are usually knackered if still the originals.
