Post by RafsMR2 »

Hey guy’s, I’m going to buy the Cobra exhaust and remove the precast, but which looks better single or quad?

Imo the dual looks better than the quad but be warned your rear bumper may need some massaging as the exhaust tips exit about an inch above the bottom of the rear bumper. Hopefully you wouldn't need to cut up the rear bumper for some noise holes depending on how the precat removal goes.

I'm getting the Cobra quad exhaust in under 2 weeks time and the fitters are adamant there needs to be no manipulation of the rear bumper as the exhausts sit beneath it.

Had the quad version fitted on mine (55 plate) a couple of weeks ago and no bumper manipulation was needed, although they did slightly trim the black plastic cover underneath to cater for the second pipe.

Where is the cheapest place to get an exhaust (dual exits) please? They seem so expensive and how much bhp should I expect to gain?

Yeah I did think that would be the case unfortunately. Well I'm going to get a new dual exhaust for the look and the sound... That just would have been a bonus.
