May 10th 2015: Annual Run to Norfolk
I am having a look at my old favourite haunts, see where we can get the best car parks would be good if we can get an idea of rough numbers so I know how big a car park we will need.

Japfest is on the 16th, so that might affect attendance somewhat. I'll be doing both!

I've still got sand under the carpet in my car from last time.

Tony was looking forward to putting on his knotted hanky and rolling up his trouser legs for a bit of a paddle I reckon.

Well that settles it then, we are going to the beach. Who are we going to bury in the sand?TonyleFrog wrote:http://goo.gl/msBC0A - it would have been fine if I had brought the right gear with me!Stripey wrote:Ha ha sorry for that Tony, I take it you would rather not visit the beach mid-run then?

Yep Tony, from the Horsey Bay entrance and down along there. It's a fairly straight road that is built on the wet marshy land so the road moves a bit over time, it has slight undulations in the road that make it quite fun to drive down at a 'sensible' pace x)
Although unfortunately I don't think we will have time to cover all of Norfolk on this run so think we will be giving the East coast a miss this year. As much as I enjoy the roads around that area.

Gotta be Stu after that comment he made about me.Stripey wrote:Well that settles it then, we are going to the beach. Who are we going to bury in the sand?
Or maybe Dom if he gets too frisky (I assume he will be taking part).
In that case...Stripey wrote:...think we will be giving the East coast a miss this year.
Some longer serving members will remember this legendary 'walking on water' pic.
And Smitty's limbo dancing..
