With Japfest only a few weeks away, lets get a list of attendees from the area and organise our journey over.

I might be up for a convoy... although I refuse to go near Chippenham this year. If you're going to jn18 and loop back to the North approach to the circuit then I'm in :th:

^^This^^

With a briefing at 09.30 there is no way I'm risking playing Tiddlywink this year...

As our stand entry passes are for Gate A, it makes no sense to go anywhere near Morrisons and the inevitable A350/A420 traffic jam. However coming from the east there is no need to do a shed load of unnecessary extra miles to J18 of the M4.

Use this route - https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Stan ... 5&t=m&z=13
It joins the B4039 by The Salutation Inn in The Gibb only 2 miles from the circuit entrance.

@ Jay, do we know where our plot is yet? Last time we used Gate A (Tower entrance) we were banished to the nether regions beyond Bobbies. As far as it is possible to be from Quarry where most of the fun happens. The only good thing about it was it close to a standpipe and the toilet block!
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Chieveley makes sense, we'll be going round the M25 and along the M4.

So, if we pick up the Essex lot at Brentwood services, and any of the Hertfordshire / North London / surrounding areas and anyone coming through that way at South Mimms services? Then onto Chieveley to pick up the main group, and onto the venue.

That will depend on the timings from Jay. It will be an early start though as it's a ~2hr15min drive from Brentwood to Castle Combe with no stops, assuming traffic conditions are decent!
