Bad timing.
Other engagements.
Car problems
Short of dosh*
Social media.**

*  A combination of having to stump up for next years HD deposit and being seduced by a Datsun.
I can forgive the former but the latter is a bit hard to take...

** There seems to be a trend away from forums. I'm not on Bookface and have no plans to be.
So the potential audience is diminished. If that's the price to pay, so be it. I'm not for turning.

I reckoned that the later start would encourage those who claim not to like dawn starts (the date for this round means an extra hour in bed too). Not on this occasion it would appear. Oh well...

Am I too late to join in Tony?

Can't thrash the old girl too much so a sunday lunch style drive should do perfectly :D
If I'm too late then so be it. Still might come just to sample light weight flywheelness.

There's always one... :laughing

You're in luck. I always allow for contingencies. It's easier to downsize than ask for a bigger table on the day.

I have added you to the list. :th:

Have just realised I could be outnumbered by foreigners! I'm the only person from Kent on it.

All of the above except the last one, still an avid forum supporter :)

The MR2 is currently wheel less which is kind of a major requirement for these kinds of events (long story), pre existing commitments etc. Oh well there's always next year...

The current financial pain is totally worth suffering though, you'll get over it when you finally see and hear it :bleh: Have a good one those that can make it :th:

We advertise the Essex meet on social media now. TBH I don't think it actually makes much difference to getting new people involved, although it does help to remind some of the semi-regulars who don't check the forums / forget.

Woody, I'm sure Tony has some wheels you can borrow! :laughing

They don't work too well on the road without any tyres... ;)

Now buzz off and let me concentrate on the route plan while you sort out your car... :cheeky:

PMs sent. :th:

Don't forget this. Otherwise you'll have to aimlessly prowl the aisles at Tesco for an hour...

Sorry can't make it now, still over the limit from last night. Gutted to be wasting this last chance.
