Kent Run Round 8 - Sunday 27th November

Post by TonyleFrog »

Anyone up for another mid morning pub run to finish off the current season?
If so, route will be ~50-55 miles. Got a different destination in mind for this one.

Provided there is sufficient interest (see below) I'll do the necessary.
As previously I will need to know numbers (bums on seats) for booking a table.

1. TLF
2. MRHAPPY62 +1
3. Woody928
4. jimGTS
5. gavsdavs (tbc)

This event will be the curtain call for 2016. If you miss out now you'll have to wait until next year. :bleh:

As always we will be driving to the conditions, so progress will be largely determined by the amount of traffic we encounter. How bad it will be I can't predict as my crystal ball isn't working...

Haha touché, it will be weather dependent as always I understand. Just trying to work out whether I'll be able to get away will drum brakes rather than carbotech's if the weather is suitably nice ;)

Got both steeds up and running so I've got a choice to make now you see. If things get more serious I'm well aware which machine would be far more clinical in its approach, I'll make a judgement nearer the time and based on the weather forecast :)

A mid morning start will mean the traffic level will dictate pace far more than the weather. I don't think drum brakes will be an issue tbh. Any gap which might develop can simply be resolved by a longer pause at the next junction.

Besides we all want an opportunity to perv over the Z. :)

Hi Tony,

I think mine will also still be in maintenance mode that weekend. If it returns quicker than expected I will let you know - a Sunday lunch would be most agreeable.

OK. I have to finalise the number of bums on seats with the pub by Friday 25th.
