Thanks for organising as always TLF was good to catch up even with the small crowd. I really enjoyed being out with the T-bar off in round one and the twilight tour in round two. Your local knowledge continued to amaze me, particularly given the visibility on the way back!
Twilight Tour.
- Love it! That has given me an idea for next season...
Local knowledge? All the roads on the way back have been used on one or more previous Kent Runs (admittedly normally in the opposite direction, but hey). Maybe it was the lack of visibility you mention. Not sure what that is about though, unless it was due to you using dipped headlights. Or else you don't very often drive your MR2 on unlit rural roads after sunset...

Anyway next year is Tony's 10th year of organising the Kent run so we all need to make more effort to give him good turn outs !
I don't really mind whether it's 3 cars or 23 tbh (the fewest and most that have attended a KR).
Not everyone will be willing or able to do the full monty. Putting on 7 or 8 rounds means that everyone gets a sporting chance to do at least a couple if that's all they want or can manage.

Thanks again TLF
I'm very particular about food, especially for a pub event. Nothing worse than a good run let down by s**t catering! I won't book anywhere that I haven't been able to sample, preferably within the preceding 3 or 4 months. It needs to be that way because even if it's in my 'little black book' it's all too easy for any establishment to deteriorate because it has changed hands, the chef has left, or the landlord has lost his/her mojo.
Glad you all enjoyed the day. Hopefully I can come up with some fresh tomatoes for 2018.
