10mm wheel shims/spacers.

Post by Wheelnut »

Would 10mm shims leave enough stud length or would I need longer studs?
Thanks.

yes you would need longer studs.
the other option is to go with full hubcentric spacers like these as example

Hi. Thanks for the info, I have the first ones on my watch list. Ordered the wheels from
Wheelbase who said they would fit but arrived as ET45's not the 35"s I expected so
waiting to hear back from them. Don't want to be paying out another £140 got enough
other bits to spend that on.

Be wary of some of the cheaper spacers, particularly the hubcentric ones. theres been some incidents reported of them cracking around the bolt holes

Thanks. Sent the wheels back today, it's taken a week, 3 phone calls plus an email to get
them collected. They said 112's would fit apart from sending me ET45's as well. They now want me to review my purchase, waiting to get refunded first!
Looking at ET38's and shim 2 or 3mm, ok?
