Recommended Tyres

Hi All,

I've just landed myself a 1992 (k reg) MR2, all original car, with only 27k miles on it.

At the moment the tyre tread is fine, however 3 are yokohamas, and 1 is Nexen (one of the back wheels).

So looking to get all matching (if possible).

Does anyone have any recommendations on what tyres to use?

Front: 195/55/15
Rear: 225/50/15

I want to keep the car as original as possible so don't want to change the wheels.

Get Toyo Proxes T1R while they are in stock. Decent enough tyres, and precious little other choices in stock size

Yes the Toyo T1R are okay, ran a set for a while many years ago before switching to the Toyo R888's, but it just depends on how you drive.
