Correct wheel size for a normal MK2 mr2
Hi Guys.
I’ve been looking at maybe a nice set of aftermarket alloys for me V6 mr2.
I quite like the alloys I have on my MR2 Ferrari so whilst I gave the V6 mr2 alloys a wash by removing them I thought I would see what it looks like with the Ferrari alloys on and vice versa.
Ahh! The Ferrari 18” wheels with 265 wide tires on the back are alittle big.
In fact there flipping enormous. They stick out by 2 inches.
I don’t really want to make my V6 mr2 look like something out of the fast and furious sh it. Plus I thinks I would get nicked
For a laugh I put the little mr2 15” wheels on the Ferrari. Ah! Now that’s class LOL.
Seriously what’s the correct wheel and tyre size for a mr2? I’d like 18s but isn’t that to big?

When you get my pictures the black wheels I had on were 17". The fronts 17x7.0 ET35 and the rears 17x8.0 ET35. Front tyres 215/40/R17 and rears 235/40/R17.

sparco ns2 crimson racing wheels
17x8 et32 with 215/40 tyres
17x9 et35 245/40 tyres
fit perfect with bc coilovers, think they still would fit with standard struts.
